I offer TWO types of workshops:

Artist’s Holiday or Instructional workshop

Irina’s instructional workshops are conducted for five weekdays during mid Summer and the last week of August.

Email Irina or check her website (www.irinaohl.com) for this year’s schedule. Student groups are kept purposely small (no more than 5 students) to facilitate individual, hands-on teaching. Each day has two sessions: 9.30 AM until Noon with two and a half hour lunch break. There is ample time for a swim in our solar heated pool during this break.

The afternoon sessions begin at 2.30 PM and continue until 5PM at which time there is a critique with aperitif.

Classes are conducted en plein air when possible.

Artist’s Painting Holiday

Details:

By previous arrangement, for artists of any medium, for up to seven days of accompanied plein-air painting. Each day has two plein air sessions. There is ample studio space in case of inclement weather. Painting sessions are held during the last week of May, mid summer and during the first week of September. Cost

daily outings to specially chosen painting locations.

Cost of transportation per day with lunch and evening apertif included.

50 Euros or dollar equivalent at current rate of exhange.

Schedule

Teaching (Instructional)

Details Per person per day for five hours of instruction including lunch, critique and aperitif:

Schedule 2008 schedule is for the last week of May and/or the last week of July (watercolors)

First week in August for acryllics only

Amenities : Accommodations wither with the artist or very close by in a 16th C chateau ( seriving just breakfast or another chateau 15 minutes away with all meals. Email Irina for further details and price lists. All accommodation arrangement can be made by Irina as none of these chateaux have email addresses.

Daily flights from Stanstead and Liverpool to Limoges on Ryan Air. Rental cars are available at Limoges Airport.

Flights from USA to Paris (CDG) with early afternoon connecting flights to Limoges.

Train Service:

Wueostar from London to Paris (Gare de Nord) change to Gare de Austerlitz for service to Brive la Gaillarde. Two afternoon trains daily. Rental cars available near the rail station.
